This morning Yahoo seems to have gotten it back together and is reporting on the massive tornadoes that killed hundreds of people in the South. Nothing against Jake's bald head, but that does seem slightly more important...
So true, PG. The deadly tornadoes seem to be never ending & they were reporting this morning that there are more to come. This is truly insane weather lately & hopefully it will stop asap. I was very upset when I saw the news this morning showing the devastation in Alabama, & Georgia from last night. & they said the death toll is rising. I hope you are OK where you are, I always worry about you when I hear Tennessee mentioned at all & I thought they said there has been major flooding in or near Memphis. Thank you, Vanessa. :) Yes, the weather right now is CRAZY. I was without power for about 18 hours from Tuesday night to yesterday afternoon, but we were very fortunate in terms of tornadoes and straight-line winds... But the rain! We got about 10 inches from Monday morning to Wednesday afternoon. People are being evacuated left and right along tributaries of the Mississippi and the Mississippi itself isn't supposed to crest until May 10; they're even talking about having to move the Memphis in May BBQ Contest, which I don't think has ever happened in its history (it's held right along the river). The next couple of days look alright, but more severe weather is predicted for Sunday.
I hope everyone in the path of these storms is safe and stays safe!! Scary stuff... :-/
