Oh, KD, me too, I have always wanted to work in the film industry, but there virtually is none in Houston, so I was just SOL there & ended up in the failing mortgage industry, imagine that?
Maybe I should flee to LA & try to get a gig there anyway. But, no, I would not be able to keep from the more important business of Jake stalking which pays a big fat ZERO, & would NEVER get my real work done, like what's happening to me right now... >;-)

Are these bonuses on the Jarhead DVD? Because I just looked on the back of the case and it doesn't say anything about these :(
^^^ These are from the Very Special Two-Disc Collector's Edition of Jarhead that is hard to find and [used to be] stupidly expensive. :)

They should do one of those fifteen minute specials for cable on the "Making of..." and generate somemore revenue!! :)

First, let me say something that is really bothering me. PG, your blog would NEVER be lame whether I helped you or not. Why do you think I am so addicted to it? Definitely NOT because of anything I helped do, that's for sure. Yours is the BEST, FUNNIEST, & MOST FUN Gyllenblog on the net, period. Besides, I really like sharing the Gyllenwealth with the Gyllengaals & Gyllenguys. >;-)
Now as far as these extras, yes what I am uploading is from the 2 disc collector's edition which I got from Amazon a while back very cheaply, ($5.25). It was considered "very good" condition, & I buy a lot like that as I am super frugal & hate paying full price for anything, besides the fact that I am poor, (in the failing mortgage industry, remember?) I highly recommend this version to anyone that loves this movie as there are 2 other documentaries on the bonus disc. The 1st disc is identical to the regular DVD version, but imho, you can't have too much of The Gyllenhaal... >;-) FYI, the bluray of this has no extras at all, but has an excellent commentary with Tony Swofford & the screenwriter, William Broyles & "Swoff" talks a bit about our boy & how great he was in this.

I have a stupidly large DVD collection...mostly movies, some television series. It's so funny because I literally live right next to LA but I'm as far off from the film industry as those living in the Louisiana or something.
Speaking of Jarhead, I remember re watching it post PoP and thinking, "THIS IS THE SAME GUY?!"
