Oh Yeah, I Guess There's Real News, Too. Source Code and Love and Other Drugs, Anyone?
Sometimes this Jake Gyllenhaal guy that everyone is so worked up about does movies and stuff. (It's actually how we know who he is, though admittedly it's easy to forget that it was film career first, socks and car doors second.)
The next time we lucky, lucky stalkers will get to see Jake on the big screen is NOVEMBER 24, in a nudity-filled Viagra ditty called Love and Other Drugs.
What Jake Gyllenhaal might have looked like had he been a
womanizing pharmaceutical representative in 1996.
For some reason, everyone in the United States is getting to see Love and Other Drugs 4-6 months early. So far, the standard response to seeing this movie has been to rush back to a computer and write all sorts of spoilery things while mostly talking about how great it is.

ALSO ON THE AGENDA for our Mr. Gyllenhaal is Source Code, a sci-fi thriller that has a synopsis involving trains and body snatching. (I know less about this movie because I didn't have a good friend living in the city in which it was filmed through whom I could stalk Jake vicariously during the filming process.)
What Jake Gyllenhaal might look like were he to charge head first
into a camera on the set of Source Code.
We now know that Source Code is slated for release early next year, and we know that because director Duncan Jones doesn't mind getting his hands dirty by talking to the plebeian masses. He discusses filming, and this Jake guy, and filming with this Jake guy HERE (amidst some more general stuff).
But the God's honest truth is that you could get that information from any Jake site. In fact, maybe you already got that information from any Jake site. (I know I did.)
No, the REAL NEWS today is that Jake has ranked a dismal 10 out of 20 (!!) in Best Week Ever's Luscious Celebrity Eyebrow List.
AHHH SO MUCH FAIL, BEST WEEK EVER. I'll go with Peter Gallagher being number one, but Jake at ten? TEN?!?!!!

I always did find Jake's eyebrows the most luscious and attractive when they were thin and shapely but not pencil thing as they were circa 2002-2003.

A word about spoilery: When you are prepared to watch a Jake movie over and over and over, what difference does it make if you know how it ends? Oh...you told me the ending...now I won't bother. I THINK NOT!!

As usual, your daily post made my crappy day bearable once again. Thanks. I now have a smile on my face, but then how could I not with those LUSCIOUS Jake-brows. Sometimes they are so perfectly coiffed & sometimes not so much, but you can't ever say they aren't sexy.
Ok, can i just say this.... LAOD sounds fricken WEIRD?!?!?! I dont see how it can be a romantic comedy...??? I duno, i should hold my judgements until i see it but im really not sure about this one....
Eyebrows, really?! Is this what is has come too? Im not entirely sure if i want Jake to win this competitions, alot of those eyebrows were totally hideous...
Then again, I say that but Jake should win everything...
INDEED it has come to eyebrows. IHJ has been forced to go back another year; today's pictures are from 2003 (and because of a certain blonde in those pictures, I opted not to post them lest mass hysteria break out). Alas, I haven't seen a news slump like this since the summer of aught-7...
On an even more serious note, Jake's eyebrows should probably be the focus of some sort of comprehensive study, but I'm too worn out from resizing Blingees right now to do it myself... :)
I heard it was a dramedy with lots of sex. I'm not sure romance really plays much into it. I guess I'll find out in Novemeber.

Oh my word...I honestly didn't think anything could ever turn me off Gylls and those delectable eyebrows......but what is with the Nike Air Jerusalem and Socks combo?!!
Great view of the socks though. He's making sock watch too easy for us. The only saving grace is that he's matched the colour of the sock to the sandal.
I'm going to have to seriously rethink my obsession if he's going to continue this kind of deviant behaviour!
TOTAL SOCK FAILURE. I agree, Clarabel. It's painful for me to see him put so little effort into his footwear... My only consolation is that this is when I was on my hiatus, so he probably didn't think we would see this.
