Oh yeah they do. How could they possibly not??? I mean, look at that gorgeous mug, not to mention the hot bod.

Welcome back PG! Hope you had a great getaway weekend, I didn't except for having a total Jake weekend which is a perfect staycation in my book. I am actually going to see PoP ONE MORE TIME today, I can't fathom the idea of it being removed from my theaters. Perish the thought! But at least it still made more per theater than Shrek 4 this weekend even if they dropped it to # 12 spot.

Thanks, Vanessa! I did have a great Fourth. :D I'm glad you did, too, and I hope everyone else did as well!

PoP is only playing in one theater here now. :( I'm going to try to get another PoP post in here very, very soon...in the meantime, I'm glad to hear it (finally!) made more than Shrek 4 for once. Jesus. And good job on your repeated viewings! Might as well take advantage while you can. :-/

Jake is just reeking of testosterone in this photo~ Note the proud jutting chin with its secondary sexual characteristic, the forward thrust of his shoulders and the pushed out chest. Those guys on either side of him? Straight. But right now they wouldn't mind a Jake sandwich! ;-)

^^^ That first sentence should be put in biology textbooks the world over. ;D

Note also the look of rapture on the face of the man directly behind the guy in the purplish shirt...and above him, a person of undetermined gender captures the moment for all eternity. Are there other people in the area similarly stunned by Jake's appearance? Likely...but the photographer him/herself was so enthralled that he/she could not break away his/her focus on Jake, and thus we're left to wonder for an eternity about the sheer scope of the elation he's leaving in his wake...

The man with the wallet is just another poor unsuspecting soul who was enraptured by the sudden appearance of Jake Power in his life. So he did the only thing your average dude knows what to do when confronted by unleashed sex appeal - takes out his wallet and gives money.

And thank you, Dani, yes! I had a great time! In fact, I can't believe it's Monday already. Ah, the holidays...they always go by fast when you don't want them to and slowly when you'd rather they not... :D

Vanessa - when it comes to Jake, lemming is not a BAD thing! I have many fantasies where I jeopardize my safety and well-being for Jake's sake. I thought that was normal, LOL! And welcome back, PG, I missed you (and shocking you...though you're pretty conditioned to me now!).

Well, I must report that I just got back from my 4th viewing of PoP & the theater was half full which wasn't bad for a 1:30 showing especially with all the others being taken over by vampires, werewolves & airbenders! Go TEAM GYLLENHAAL!!! & I noticed all the other peeps in the theater were totally enraptured, (how could they NOT be?), & thoroughly enjoyed it. But it's looking pretty dismal for the possibility of a sequel, oh the horrors. But at least we will have the wonderfulness of his highness romping around in the buff in November! Yippee! Can't wait for that one! >;-)

& again, you guys are making this the best place to visit for feeding my addiction. Thank you.

Second post taken care of! ;) Wow, that's great that half the theater was full! I'm all for anything that adds a few more dollars to the box office total, especially here at the end. :) So it was a good audience, then? The first audience I saw it with, on opening night, was pretty dull, which surprised/disappointed me. My second audience was really good, though...and that definitely has an effect on how people (who aren't me) enjoy the movie.

And yes, Love and Other Drugs will be here before we know it! I'm liking not having to wait so long between movies...the two years between Rendition and Brothers was RIDICULOUS.

Oh believe me, I will be first in line to buy a gazillion tickets if it would help get us a sequel. But I am assuming that, since Disney historically does not make sequels unless they are major blockbusters & the domestic box office take surpasses the budget. In this case, Americans just did not embrace the Prince. Why??? I am still baffled by this ridiculousness. I have my suspicions though, but who really knows? I have seen a few great movies over the years that should have been blockbusters never get off the ground & I never could figure it out. Well, all we can do is keep our fingers crossed & hope they do it anyway.
