Some Fake Jake Wants You To Vote For The Real Jake For The Teen Choice Awards
Geez, these Twitter Jakes are persistent! Just since the last time I wrote an entry about Fake Twitter Jakes, there are even more Fake Twitter Jakes. Let's check out what "JakeGyllenhaal_" has been up to in the past few days (he protects his tweets, though I have the honor of being amongst the roughly 2000 people he has graciously allowed into his circle):
FAKE JAKE FAIL. (Though, to be fair, I have never once seen a Fake Jake win.)
Generally related to all of this, Jake really is up for a Teen Choice Award or two, so if you'd like to do your part to place Jake in a room full of screaming teenagers, go HERE! He's nominated for Choice Movie Actor: Fantasy (Prince of Persia) and Choice Movie Actor: Drama (Brothers). (Who knew Brothers was such a hit with the teen set?) Not to dash anyone's hopes, but he's up against RPatz and Taylor Lautner in the first category and RPatz and Channing Tatum in the second, so...yeah. He doesn't have a cold chance in hell.
But we can vote for him anyway.

Looks like another job for the Fake Jake Busters!! How sad. It's one thing to love Jake, but quite another to want to make people think you ARE Jake! "No life, table for one!"
Gylls has been full of surprises lately. I wouldn't be all that surprised if he all of a sudden felt like going to the teen awards. I also don't think that if he went it would have anything at all to do with Disney. Nope. Not at all.
He is kind of Disney's bitch... :D
Although in thinking about that, I've often wondered why they didn't get him to do some sort of Twitter thing, even if it wasn't him doing the updating and was instead just updates on PoP and stuff... Sometimes I doubt Disney's commitment to Jake Gyllenhaal.

I might not even tune into the teen awards... i mean really... we ALL know who is going to win *sigh* I'm a twilight saga fan but c'mon they need to let someone else have a go! Next year they should call all the awards "team Edward or Jacob?"
I just voted for Jake although, yeah, with all these twilight nominations the chances for him to win aren’t the greatest ;)
When I gave my real birth year (1985) it told me I’m not able to vote so I had to change it. That made me feel really OLD ;)
Anyway I just wanted to say I really love your site :) There aren’t many sites out there with sense of humor and irony as wicked as mine so it was good to find yours :D
I often feel like commenting but as you probably can see my english is rather poor so I’m sorry in advance for all mistakes! I’m just finishing my second term of english studies at my university so there are (some) chances it’s gonna get better in time ;) Although I guess it would be more helpful if I’d just concentrate on studying for my exams instead of spending so much time in the internet lol ;)

Ania! I am so, so glad you commented!! And your English is PERFECT. Seriously. Probably better than mine. Also, um, hello? You should TOTALLY always choose stalking Jake Gyllenhaal over studying. As I'm fond of say, priorities!!! ;D
Also, I confess that I haven't yet voted today, so that's really depressing that I'm going to have to change my birth year, too. (I'm a 1982 birth, so don't feel old!) The things I'll do for Jake... I'm right there with you and Sam, in that it's time for these Twilight kids to step aside. Damn them; let someone else in on the fun!

And Silver, I swear to God I remember that same bio from MySpace! I looked though, and I couldn't find it. :( Amazingly enough, this is someone else, and not JBGyllenhaal, who is alive and well and still fooling everyone even though he has "Jake Gyllenhaal fansite" in his profile now. I'm trying to work out how best to ridicule him... (He is TERRIBLE!)
Ugh, his/her tweets sound just like JGyllenhaal <-- the latest to be removed. Probably the same person. When someone asked if his parents tweet, the reply was "No" and his father has a twitter page linked to his personal website. What a fool.
See, this is what kills me...who are these people who run these sites?? They never seem to be fans because they don't seem to know anything about anything. I don't know which is worse, watching them do such an awful job or watching thousands of people fall for it.

Good lord, these Fake!Jake twitter things need to stop. I don't know how many I've seen over the years...
I voted for him (I didn't have to change my age though. Ahhh, I'm too young!!!) but I highly doubt he'll win against the Twilight crew. Think last year's and this year's MTV Movie Awards. I've never seen such a terrible overall franchise and somehow, teenage girls nationwide still seem to adore them.
None of the actors even remotely charm me. I find them all irritating at best.
Ania, your english is great! It puts me to shame as well! But you have convinced me to vote, last time i voted and had to change my birthday (im 85 too) it put me off, but no.. ill do this for Jake..
And KD, the Twilight thing i *get*, but to be honest the world wide phenomenon is starting to give me the shits (that and are Rpatz and Kstew together or what?! ARGH!) I mean at the end of the day, when was the last time someone mentioned the actual BOOK?! -So i can only imagine how much its pissing off non twilight fans! I feel for ya, and im voting for Jake and POP and Gemma this time!
Thank you, D! :) It is a lot of work...but somebody has to report on the real issues! ;D I just have to wonder about the people who think these fakes are really Jake. Do they not do ANY homework on the real deal??
And OH TWILIGHT. God that's so true about no one ever talking about the books anymore. I had hoped that after New Moon things would die down but...not even remotely. And we've still got 2 Breaking Dawn movies to go. So no one else will win a Teen Choice Award until, like, mid-decade...
HappyDogBlog here reporting that a photo has surfaced! BUT, I wanted to make sure its okay with the friend (of a friend) that its OK to post publicly. Anyway, he looks hot. He's looking into the camera and his sleeves are rolled up. Nuff said!

Everyone should read this blog!! ;D No, but seriously, this has been my main complaint about Fake Jakes for YEARS. There is no worthy contender! No one who truly tries hard enough to deceive anyone who's paying attention... It's honestly embarrassing on behalf of those of us who who truly care about Jake's image that these complete and utter losers get away with fooling people. :-/
I don't know which is more embarrassing to admit: A) that I promptly quit following said imposter immediately after reading this, or B) that I ever followed them to begin with.
